Login, password, and account problems.
Login Problems
"Invalid email or password"
- Double-check email spelling
- Ensure Caps Lock is off
- Try copying password from password manager
- Use "Forgot password?" to reset
"Account not found"
- Verify email address you used to sign up
- Check alternate email addresses
- You may need to create new account
"Too many login attempts"
- Wait 15 minutes before trying again
- Use password reset instead
- Contact support if locked out
Password Reset
- Go to my.shelfindulgence.net
- Click "Forgot password?"
- Enter your email address
- Check inbox for reset link (check spam folder)
- Click link and create new password
Not Receiving Reset Email
- Check spam/junk folder
- Add noreply@shelfindulgence.net to contacts
- Wait 10 minutes (email may be delayed)
- Contact support if no email after 1 hour
Email Change
- Sign in to your account
- Go to Account Settings
- Update email address field
- Verify new email via confirmation link
Account Security
- Use at least 12 characters with uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols
- Don't reuse passwords from other sites
- Use a password manager (1Password, LastPass, Bitwarden)
Suspicious Activity
If you notice unauthorized access: change password immediately, review payment information, check published books for modifications, and contact support.
Deleting Your Account
- Unpublish all books
- Wait for final payment (if balance over $5)
- Contact support to request account deletion
- Confirm deletion via email
Warning: Account deletion is permanent. All book data, sales history (except tax records), and settings will be lost.
