Common Migration Questions
Will my sales history transfer?
No, sales history doesn't transfer between platforms. However, your books will continue selling on D2D while you build new sales history on Shelf Indulgence. Your rankings and reviews on retailers remain unchanged.
Do I have to remove my books from D2D?
Not at all! You can use both services simultaneously. Just make sure you don't distribute the same book to the same store through both platforms — retailers don't allow duplicate listings.
How long until my books go live?
Timeline is similar to D2D: 24-48 hours for most stores, up to 2 weeks for libraries. Apple Books and Google Play are usually the fastest.
What if I change my mind?
You're free to leave anytime, no questions asked. Your books, your rights, your choice. We never lock you in.
